Job Description:
- Plan and follow delivery routes to transport orders efficiently with excellent customer service.
- Safely operate box trucks, vans, and other company delivery vehicles.
- Load, secure, and unload supplies at customer locations. Provide lift-gate services as needed.
- Verify contents of orders for accuracy pre-delivery. Report any issues.
- Provide proof of delivery, collect payments as needed, and get customer signatures.
- Comply with all DOT regulations for vehicle maintenance, load securing, hours of service, licensing, etc.
- Maintain vehicle condition by monitoring fluid levels, tire pressure, etc. and reporting any issues.
- Use GPS and routing software to optimize routes and meet time windows.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driver’s license with clean driving record and ability to drive manual transmission.
- Experience with driving delivery box trucks, vans, or other large vehicles.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Detail and safety oriented. Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Weekday, weekend, holiday, and overnight availability.
