Job Description:
- Safely operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, arc, and oxy-fuel welders.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and welding symbols.
- Fabricate metal components and structures through cutting, fitting, and welding.
- Perform repair work on equipment such as replacing worn parts and rebuilding components.
- Comply with all safety protocols for PPE, equipment use, confined space entry, etc.
- Maintain clean and orderly workspace and equipment. Monitor for safety issues.
- Record details of work performed including consumables used and hours worked.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of welding experience in an industrial environment.
- Proficiency with tools and fabrication techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read technical drawings.
- Knowledge of welding standards and able to achieve required levels of quality.
- Ability to pass standard vision and dexterity tests.
- Valid driver’s license with ability to occasionally lift 50+ pounds.
